Kashmir the Band Releases First Song from Second Album – ‘Chal Hutt’
After the success of their first studio album, ‘Khwaab,’ Kashmir the band has announced the release of its much-awaited second album, ‘Zindagi,’ as the band dropped the first track from it, ‘Chal Hutt.’
Fresh off the release of their single ‘Ayi Bahar’ late last year, Kashmir unveiled their first taste of the new album with Chat Hutt. This upbeat and catchy song is the typical commentary of an average Pakistani. Chal Hutt is a clever juxtaposition of denial and acceptance brought to life by the band’s unique sound, accompanied by a music video.
Talking about the release of the new song, the band members were visibly excited, “We couldn’t be happier with the release of the first single from our second album – this one is special and close to our hearts. We hope the fans enjoy listening to it as much as we have enjoyed making it,” said the band.
Chal Hutt is the first track from the band’s upcoming second album ‘Zindagi’. The band will be releasing one song from the second album every month till its release. Chal Hutt is available for streaming on all major music platforms.

Kashmir the Band Released A Stripped-Down Version of their Original ‘Faislay’
Kashmir the Band has dropped a stripped-down version of their song ‘Faislay’, an original by the group, recorded during quarantine from their homes.
Having first performed ‘Faislay’ during their time on Pepsi Battle of the bands, the song did not make it to the group’s debut album. Though, the band has now released this original, accompanied by a video starring the band members performing the song from their homes. The song has been released for now on their social media platforms and YouTube.
Talking about the release of the song, the band said, “Faislay is a song we composed and wrote long before taking part in Pepsi Battle of the Bands. The funny story is, when we were put into the danger zone, we decided to play this song without any prior practice for months. It was impromptu and straight from the heart. So here’s a stripped-down version, planned, but still straight from the heart.”
Marking their name as the most promising alternative rock band in the country, Kashmir the Band has also recently released their debut album ‘Khwaab’- and continue to garner appreciation and acclaim for their music.

Kashmir the Band Released their Debut Album; Khwaab
Having won the Pepsi battle of the bands season 2 in 2017, Kashmir has emerged as one of the most promising alternative rock bands in the country. After 2 years of several single releases and music videos, the award-winning group in collaboration with Pepsi and Zellbury, has finally released their debut album titled “Khwaab.”
The news arrives alongside the release of another single ‘Dhoop,’ accompanied by a music video directed by Umar Anwar shot in Thailand. The album has nine songs, plus two bonus songs, a compilation of all the songs the band has released individually over the past two years. Talking about the release of their album, the band members were visibly excited, “If I could use one word to sum up this whole experience, we can easily say it has been surreal. To have been performing at all these venues, to have been able to put all this music out there has always been a dream, and getting to release this album is just the first step on this musical journey. We have put our heart and soul into making this music, and we hope people can feel some of what we have put out there through it,” said the band.
The band launched their album at a star studded event at Arts Council, Karachi where the band also performed music off their album for the audience.
