The winner of the fourth Pepsi Battle of the Bands, Auj, is finally out with their much-awaited new single ‘Nawazish’ – accompanied by a captivating music video starring Anoushay Abbasi alongside the band itself.
The lyrically evocative new song was released in a star-studded live concert, celebrating the launch of the single. ‘Nawazish’ explores the concept of love and hate, and the feelings and traumas it brings in our lives and relationships. The song is a heartbreaking tale of loss and victimizations portrayed beautifully in a soft rock musical escape by the band.
‘Nawazish’ is the perfect representation of Auj’s musical style – all the while taking away from their signature sound, and amping it up with something fresh and magical. The song is a part of their upcoming running album – which would be their first album release after their big win at Pepsi Battle of the Bands.
Auj is a rock band based out of Karachi, Pakistan. The band includes Nasir Zaka, Abdur Rahman Sajid, Muhammad Kashif and Syed Hasnain Ali. The band is known for being the winners of Pepsi Battle of the Bands fourth season in 2019.
The band is applauded for their lyrical prowess, dynamic vocals and musical compositions. Auj released their single ‘Nawazish’ and now are all set with more songs for the rest of the year.

Muneeb Mushtaq, explains in explicit detail how to S.T.O.P and take a breather for your anxiety. The trick is simple enough to follow and consists of these four simple steps. Muneeb Mushtaq says that every time you feel anxious, you need to S.T.O.P.
S – is to STOP whatever you’re doing and just sit down somewhere.
T – is to TAKE deep breaths
O – is to OBSERVE your emotions – and focus on what you’re going through right now, find out the reason behind your anxiety. If it is something in the past or if it is something in the future. If it is something out of your control – you don’t need to worry about it, and if it is something in your control – you will eventually handle it. So you have to observe that emotion and make sure you can easily let go of it.
P – is to PROCEED. SO you proceed with your life, proceed with your day, as that emotion is going to pass.
This is an amazing trick to train your brain to stay calm and look at life from a balanced, less fearful perspective. Next time you feel anxiety taking over your head – try this out and let us know if it works for you!
